Restaurant Mythos in Markt Schwaben

Delicious food and friendly service. Have eaten on site several times or ordered to be picked up. Unfortunately, however, a bit chaotic and long waiting times to pick up on site. A little more structure and management would certainly not hurt the place. I also know it from other Greeks e.g. So that drinks are also offered when you pick them up and especially if you have to wait longer than expected. However, it may be that this is currently not allowed.

We wanted to eat there last with friends and children. The waiter made a very unfriendly impression when we asked him for a high chair. Still nothing worked. When after 45 minutes we asked if at least the food for the children could be ready faster, the wrong meal was brought. When we asked after more than an hour when the meal would be ready and threatened to leave it was only said "as you mean .." so that after almost 90 minutes without food we left the restaurant. It annoyed us that there was no apology and nothing. No attempt was made to change the situation (at least serve the salad or something similar).

We went to this restaurant yesterday with 3 children and waited almost 2 hours for the food. And then we couldn't wait any longer and we went away hungry ((Never again!

The service leaves a lot to be desired. The waiter was a bit overwhelmed and cleared the plates early. Starters and desserts were okay.

One of the best restaurants I’ve personally ever been to!! Amazing authentic food, very friendly staff and a cozy Greek ambience with traditional music. Incredibly tender lamb cutlets; very well spiced. I highly recommend the tiramisu as the finale for such a pleasant experience.

Authentic and tasty food

Very tasty dishes, good value for money and when you pick up there is always a small dessert. We recommend!

Nicely and comfortably furnished, you also feel comfortable on the large terrace. The service is friendly. The food tastes good. Unfortunately, we only had one portion of gyros available, otherwise we would have had to wait a long time, but at 7 p.m. it was actually main time for dinner. We'd love to come back.

Was a guest at the Mythos restaurant on September 17th, 2020. Service great, food first class. Unfortunately, the minimum distance between the tables is not observed here. Fortunately, the next table was not occupied. In times of a pandemic, I don't think that's acceptable. Health protection for guests and employees are very far behind here and, in my opinion, the focus is on profit. I can therefore only award two stars.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere with courteous service

The food was great. But unfortunately the waiting time was very long. Waiter seemed overwhelmed. Others ordered later and got their food earlier. I can still recommend it.

Top quality in the kitchen. Unfortunately, very loud music. Therefore 4 instead of 5 stars. Very well attended. It is best to reserve a table. The service was very friendly.

A remarkable hot restaurant with Greek flavors

We yesterday had an order that did not go as planned. We live in the town and ordered a pick-up. Unfortunately waiting times where very long and our big order got lost somehow, which made us quite angry. This can usually not happen, however their kind and welcoming response to it was outstanding and the Food was delicious as always!

Were 15 people to eat with a larger party. Not recommended after 2 hours no food unless a small starter was not served. Everyone else who came after us had already eaten. Even with drinks orders were partly forgotten. Staff is rude too. Also no excuse because it takes so long. The boss then apologized. We were then served a dessert from the house as compensation. I hope it works better the next time I visit.

This is one of the best Greek Restaurants in Germany! The quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the reasonable prices makes it the first choice among restaurants in Bavaria. I would recommend a visit whenever you have a chance to go to Markt Schwaben......! Huge variety of starters and always fresh sea-food (my favorite in Lobster-Spaghetti)! Nice wine list....!
